“Real estate is exciting because it is dynamic but also affords us the opportunity to create something material and long-lived.”
Dennis joined the Oxford team in September of 2015 as the Controller, overseeing the financial planning and accounting functions of the company. He is drawn to the multidisciplinary nature of his job and the complex challenges associated with the development of Oxford’s core systems.
Prior to this position, Dennis served as the Controller for UrbanStreet Group in Chicago where he worked to drive change and improve efficiencies in a dynamic, small firm atmosphere. During his tenure Dennis developed internal systems to budget, track and manage construction projects that ranged in scope from $10M to $100M+. He was also responsible for the asset management and accounting for a diverse real estate portfolio spanning three states with a market value in excess of $200M.
In his spare time Dennis enjoys spending some quality down time with his wife but also has a variety of hobbies including disc golf, backpacking, grilling, and taking advantage of any chance to learn or develop a new skill.
A native Michigander, Dennis received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and an MBA from the University of Michigan-Flint.
