Jason leads all commercial construction activities for Oxford Design/Build. He develops budgets to assist with leasing, estimates and organizes self-perform work, and acts as general contractor for all construction projects. Jason leads the field superintendent and construction crews and ensures that projects are complete in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Prior to joining Oxford, Jason owned a construction company and thus brings a unique perspective of the big picture and his impact on the company bottom line. For the past 14 years, he has managed projects all over the country: the complete renovation of 22 floors in a downtown Detroit historic building; various projects for the United States Military; a 60,000 square foot office build-out for the City of Detroit; and several University of Michigan building renovations. Jason’s expert knowledge with building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards informs projects of any size and scope. He is acutely aware of how the industry is evolving and the need to continually learn about new products, tools, and materials coming to market to help advance our work and the way buildings are constructed.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University, is an OSHA 30-Hour card holder and a certified EPA Lead Renovator.
He appreciates spending time with his family and friends, golfing, biking and running. He enjoys watching and attending UM sports and Tigers baseball.
